Beach time w/ The Parkers

Grandma and Grand dad WA visiting for Chloe's b-day. We took a beach trip the day after the b-day. Carter loves to dig in the sand, look for shells and sea creatures. He has NO fear of the water. It is amazing how time changing things...the year before he was afraid of the ocean. He would cry if you carried him close to it. Now you can't keep him away from it:)

Sister's B-day

Carter enjoying family visiting for Chloe's first b-day. I think Carter was more excited about present time than Chloe. He would grab every gift and bring it to me and say "mommy look". But overall he did great with the focus being on Chloe and not on him!

Zoo Trip w/ Aunties & Ty

We took a trip to the Alabama Zoo w/ Auntie Cherie, Auntie Lynda and Ty. We are a aniaml loving family. I guess his favorite would be the kangaroos jumping or the alligators.

Gulfarium

Took a trip to the local aquarium. We saw some dophlin, seal and otter shows.

Butterfly House & Squirt Park

A nice family fun Saturday. We took Carter to visit a butterfly house. He like looking at the butterflies and following them around the "house".

We found a big pond behind the butterfly house. the pond had ducks and turtles swimming in it. Carter enjoyed watching the turtles. Naming them mommy turtle and baby turtles.

Next door was a squirt park for kids. Water was squirting out of the ground...like little fountains. Carter would jump, stand and try to grab the water. What a great day! Or the way Carter would say it, "that was a nice day, right mom?" (I have a habit of reminding him nice experiences by saying "that was nice").

Visit w/ Pooh

Went to the Pier to see Pooh. Carter asked where Tigger was. I told him taking care of Piglet:)

We finished the night by cooling down in the fountains!

Night, Night Bert & Ernie

Carter has just started to really enjoy playing with stuff animals; especially his Sesame Street characters. He has been doing a lot more pretend play. I found him in my room tucking the animals into my bed and him laying next to them. I thought this was SO cute!
