Baby Shower Success!!!

Christine's baby shower was a huge success! Thank you everyone for all the great gifts. So many people were able to come and it really overjoyed her. She came home and told me "Graham, I think God showed me wrong. I don't think we need to buy anything", she said in an extremely happy and almost crying voice.

Once again, thank you so much everyone for your giving hearts :-)

Flooring Re-Furb

Upon completing the baby's room floor, I also overhauled our own bedroom as well. He'll be spending quite a bit of time with us in our room, I'm sure.

Comex Baby-Room Preparations

Well I have started to tear out the carpet in our other bedroom, preparing to install the hardwood flooring I bought from Costco. The carpet desperately needed to go. It was disgustingly dirty with old dog and cat dander. Charlie our old siamese cat found the desire to pee in the corners as well, marking them. That always leaves a lovely smell that never wants to go away.

After tearing the carpet out, I painted the room a light green. Christine really wanted to try and go for the jungle theme, and the color matches perfectly with the other apparel. Once the paint dried, then her dad, Armand, and I installed the flooring. It went in better than any of the other hardwood laminate flooring I have installed. It came out great!

Spokane or Bust!

Well, a 6 hour drive is somehow accomplishable when you are 7 months pregnant! Christine did wonderful on our recent trip to Spokane for our church's annual Northwest Conference. It was a lot of fun, and a joy to be able to catch up with our long-time friends Ben & Emily Burnett!

The conference was awesome! For those that missed out, they missed a great time of learning God's word and will from our lives from some of the best speakers around. I truly can not wait to get the CD of the summer service. Christine and I were unable to attend Sunday because we were with the kids in Kids' Kingdome. One neat thing though, was that we got to be with the kids also with Mack Strong. For those of you who don't know him, he is an NFL player for the Seattle Seahawks and has been on the team the longest. He is an awesome man and a true example for Christ.
